We offer an amazing hands-on course, that is combined with a very comprehensive pre-learning course… With our new approach to learning, the students spend 8-12 weeks AT HOME, learning the basics of the industry through our pre-learning program. Then, the students come to our beautiful campus in Montana for a three-week, intense, hands-on session! It is an incredibly effective, and efficient approach to learning the art of dog grooming!
OUR TEACHING PHILOSOPHY Many people believe that grooming can only be taught through lengthy, hands-on courses spanning many months. That just isn’t the most effective way to learn how to groom dogs, and we know that from many years of teaching this craft. After all, a brain surgeon does not learn his craft through hands-on training only… After ten years of teaching hundreds of successful groomers, we know what methods are successful for teaching the art and skills involved in professional pet grooming. Our applicants are carefully screened for compatibility for our cutting-edge learning program, to make sure it is a good fit for both of us. Through extensive industry research, we have developed a one-of-a-king curriculum that is both fun and challenging! And guess what? It is highly effective, as well! No other school offers anything even similar to what we have here at the Montana Grooming School. Our comprehensive pre-learning program gives our students a very strong foundation, which we then build upon during the weeks of hands-on here on campus. The results are truly amazing!
